Many congratulations on being selected, how are you feeling?
I feel really happy and excited and very proud of myself.
How did you find out you were through, who got to break the news to you?
I found out from my mum and dad. My mum got an email telling us that I had been accepted.
How did the trial come about, were you invited or put forward by the coaches?
I was put forward by my coaches Chris and Scott from Penicuik Boys.
What are your fellow 2006 team mates saying about it?
They are all congratulating me and wishing me good luck and hoping I do well.
So what happens next, have you been given a timescale?
I have my induction day on 1st December where i will find out more.
Can I ask about being the only girl in the team, does it make things harder or easier for you?
Its just normal for me as i have been playing boys football since i was 9. The boys are amazing, they just treat me the same.
You could be the only girl in the league; do you think other teams under estimate you when they see you in the team?
Yes definitely..until they see me play..haha !!!
Can you let us know why you love football so much, and do you play any other sports?
I love football as it is all i want to do and want to become one of the best girl footballers.
Who is your footballing hero?
Has to be Messi.
Can we finish up with a word or two about your coaches, how much have they helped you to improve and get you to this stage?
Chris, Scott and Lee have been amazing and have helped me so much on my journey to success and I thank them for that. I have been very grateful for their confidence in me giving me the opportunity to play in this great team. Hopefully we can push forward this season and get up to division 2!
